At Watersong [for Lara]
Jun. 23rd, 2014 10:42 am At first Bach had ignored the pain in his side, suddenly blossoming and waking him some time during the weekend (he just slept now, most of the time). Maybe he had just strained something. His mind was changed when the pain got worse and other spots on his body started aching like he had been rolled over rocks.
Riley was his first choice for asking for help, because she would only roll her eyes in a nice way and not make him feel like his mother's son. At least with her he didn't mind being wrong all the time. But the stupid little voice in the back of his head kept pointing out that this could well be "siren" business and Lara Quinn was the only person for that.
So here he was, at Watersong again, pretty much begging the early workers there to let him see Lara. "I swear I'll behave. Honestly."
